Juilliard Names Mary Caraccioli as Vice President of Communications and Marketing

纽约, 6月11日, 2024 ––Juilliard has named Mary Caraccioli as vice president of communications and 市场营销. Caraccioli will be responsible for overseeing Juilliard’s internal and external communications, 市场营销, 数字, 编辑, and creative services functions, including all multimedia content. She will also be responsible for campaign development for nearly 800 annual performances and recitals, admissions recruitment, continuing education, and other institution-wide initiatives.

Caraccioli comes to Juilliard most recently from the Central Park Conservancy, where she served as chief communications and engagement officer for six years. 在那里, she was responsible for directing and leading the conservancy’s 数字 experience, 设计, internal and external communications, earned revenue, public programs, visitor services, and volunteers. Among other accomplishments, she has led the organization’s successful rebranding and institutional awareness initiatives. Prior to her tenure at the conservancy, Caraccioli served as chief communications officer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and had also accumulated experience as a reporter, broadcast anchor, and news executive across leading media platforms. Caraccioli earned her BA in English from 美国niversity of Pittsburgh, with advanced degrees from 美国niversity of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, where she serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at the LeBow College of Business. She is an adjunct professor at Brandeis University and serves on several nonprofit boards.

When she joins Juilliard in mid-July, Caraccioli will succeed Rosalie Contreras, who has led the department for the past five years. Contreras led Juilliard’s communications efforts through the pandemic, expanding and developing the department’s capabilities, including the evolution of the school’s 数字 and streaming initiatives, and guiding communications for the opening of the Tianjin Juilliard School.
